PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in Portsmouth early Sunday morning, according to police.
Around 2:06 a.m., Portsmouth police responded to a call about a shooting in the 4700 block of Clifford Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound and transported him to a local hospital for treatment.
