ATLANTA -- Officials have confirmed that a man shot in the face in west Atlanta has died.
The incident happened late Friday night in the 1800 block of Markone Street NW.
Officals with the Fulton County Medical Examiner have identified him as 28-year-old Benjamin Thompson of Griffin, Ga., but at this time police have not given a cause for the shooting.
