PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man has died after a shooting Friday afternoon, the Portsmouth Police Department said.
Portsmouth police responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of Fredrick Boulevard and High Street around 2:45 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
Police have not named any suspects.
