Man dead after shooting in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Va. — One man has died after a shooting early Saturday morning, the Franklin Police Department said.

Franklin police responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 1600 block of Dorchester Street around 3:12 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle crashed into a house. The occupant of the vehicle, later identified as 37-year-old Davon Davis, was suffering from gunshot wounds. Davis died from his injuries on the scene.

No suspects have been named.

Police are still investigating this incident.
