Responding officers found a man and two women shot at the scene. All three were rushed to a hospital where 18-year-old Ameerah Green was ultimately pronounced dead.

Minutes after that shooting, police learned of a gunshot victim who walked into a hospital.

Detectives later determined that all four victims were connected to the same shooting

Nearly a week later, police announced 42-year-old Earl Martin Sr. succumbed to his injuries.

Portsmouth police have not said what led up to the shooting, but neighbors at the time told 13News Now they heard a loud argument followed by a series of gunshots.

"I can hear men's voices, I can hear women's voices and you can kind of hear when somebody starts pushing and shoving each other, even while they are yelling, so I'm just like okay it's getting serious out there," said one neighbor.

Portsmouth Police told 13News Now they could not confirm if the shooting was a domestic related incident.
