CURRITUCK COUNTY, N.C. (WVEC) -- Investigators have arrested 45 year-old John Edward Muth, Jr. after allegedly finding an active meth lab inside a home.
Currituck County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit and the State Bureau of Investigation searched the home located in the 100th block of Rattle Ridge Lane after multiple tips and complaints were made about it.
Inside the home, investigators found materials used to make meth, as well as an active meth lab.
Muth has been arrested and is facing charges for possession of a firearm by a felon, manufacturing Methamphetamine, maintain a dwelling place for sale of a controlled substance, possession of Meth precursors.
Muth is currently at the Currituck County Detention Center. His bond has been set at $250,000.
Investigators say more arrests could follow the bust.
