SUFFOLK, Va. — A lieutenant at Western Tidewater Regional Jail has been charged with driving under the influence.
Officials with the Suffolk Police Department say 37-year-old Zachary Hamann was arrested on July 27.
The arrest happened around 2 a.m. in the 2400 block of Godwin Blvd.
According to the jail's director of administration, Hamann is still employed with the jail and the matter is under review.
No further information has been released.
