NORFOLK, Va. — Author's note: The video above is on file from Feb. 8, when Portsmouth leaders met to discuss the recent rash of gun violence in the city.
Investigators are trying to figure out what happened after a gunshot victim walked into Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for help.
A spokesperson for Portsmouth's emergency dispatch services said the man said he'd been shot in Portsmouth, not Norfolk.
There wasn't initially any information about the location where the victim had been shot. Around 4:30 p.m., Portsmouth Police's twitter account announced his injuries weren't life-threatening.
