GLOUCESTER, Va. — A man was arrested and charged after brandishing a weapon at Gloucester County deputies on Saturday.
Gloucester County Sheriff's Office says they were dispatched around 1 p.m. to the 9900 block of Grove Court for a report of an armed suspect making threats. The suspect was reported to have left in a vehicle before deputies arrived.
When deputies found the vehicle in the 8600 block of Farys Mill Road turned over on its side, they ordered the suspect to exit the vehicle. The Sheriff's Office says the suspect then brandished a pistol.
Deputies ordered him to drop the weapon and he eventually surrendered.
