PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A girl and a man were shot in Portsmouth Wednesday night, police say.
Portsmouth police say they responded to a call around 10:20 p.m. When officers got to the scene in the 900 block of Frederick Boulevard on Highway 17 they found a juvenile girl with life-threatening injuries and a man with non-life threatening injuries.
They were both taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police did not release any suspect information, the victims' ages or circumstances around the shooting.
