FRANKLIN, Va. — Franklin Police took a man into custody who's accused of shooting at another man during a dispute.
Officers were called to South Street and Bank Street just after 2 p.m. on Monday. A caller stated that two men were arguing at that location when one of them pulled out a gun.
The armed man fired several shots at the other man, who somehow came out of the ordeal uninjured.
Investigators later learned that the suspect in this case was 18-year-old Dashaun Pierce. Pierce was arrested at a home on Bracy Street and charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm in a threatening manner and discharge of a firearm in a public place.
Police were also able to arrest a 21-year-old man on an unrelated warrant as a result of the investigation.
Pierce is being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
