CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A former Chesapeake sheriff's deputy was found guilty and sentenced for driving under the influence with a child.
Larry Wall, 67, was arrested in May of last year and resigned from his position shortly afterwards.
He was handed a 365-day sentence but will only serve 30. He will also have a year of probation and his drivers license is suspended for a year.
Wall was an employee of the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office for 14 years.
