SUFFOLK, Va. — Lakeland High School in Suffolk was evacuated Wednesday after a reported bomb threat.
Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the school just after 4:15 p.m.
The Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office and Suffolk police investigated and determined the building all clear.
According to officials, no students were in the building at the time of evacuation. Faculty and staff have returned to the building and after-school activities have resumed as normal.
