ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — An Elizabeth City man was shot while driving, the Elizabeth City Police Department said.
Elizabeth City Police Officers responded to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center for a man who walked in with a gunshot wound.
Responding officers found a 21-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers found a crime scene at the intersection of Brooks Avenue and Ehringhaus Street.
They also discovered a second victim, a boy. The boy, whose age and identity have not been released, was a passenger in the car during the incident.
Police are still investigating.
