SUFFOLK, Va. — For the second time this week, a Suffolk middle school received a bomb threat.
Colonel Fred Cherry Middle School received bomb threats on Thursday and Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Virginia State Police and the Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office swept the building using a K-9 unit but didn't locate a threat. No one was hurt.
Suffolk police said on Thursday, the school was evacuated at around 12:30 p.m. Police say no threat was found after a sweep of the school and no one was hurt.
The building got the all-clear at 1:45 p.m. and students and staff were allowed back into the school.
