CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Chesapeake Fire Marshal's Office is looking for any information about multiple incidents where suspects attempted to set a home on fire in the Indian River area of the city.
Investigators said two incidents happened in the 1800 block of Hearthside Court between 4 and 5 a.m. on December 19, 2023, and January 5, 2024.
The Fire Marshal's Office said two suspects used a rock and cinder block to break glass while attempting to throw a Molotov cocktail through a window. They were then seen fleeing on foot toward Allison Drive.
One of the suspects was caught on surveillance video wearing black jeans with a white design near the pocket, a dark blue jacket with a hood, black shoes, and a black baseball hat.
