NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police are investigating a shooting in the Calvert Square community Friday.
Emergency dispatchers received calls about the shooting around 4 p.m., according to a Norfolk Police Department spokesperson.
It happened in the 700 block of Chapel Street.
Police say that a man was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
