CHESAPEAKE, Va. — An active-duty airman will spend 27 years in prison after convincing more than two dozen underage girls across Hampton Roads to produce child pornography, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday.
When the incidents were happening, the DOJ says Brandon Lindsey, 27, was serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina but regularly traveled to his hometown of Chesapeake.
Through social media, Lindsey would send messages to minor girls living in the Hampton Roads area. Once he gained their trust, the DOJ says he would convince them to send sexually explicit images and videos. He is also accused of meeting with the girls in Chesapeake where the DOJ says he would engage in sexual acts with them.
Linsdey allegedly met with some victims multiple times over multiple years. The DOJ said he is connected to 29 victims, with the youngest reported as 12 years old.
