PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Three people were shot in Portsmouth early Sunday morning, authorities said.
Just before 3:30 a.m., the Portsmouth Police Department (PPD) responded to a reported shooting near the corner of Victory Boulevard and Freedom Avenue.
At the scene, officers found a woman and two men who had been shot. PPD said the victims were taken to a hospital but did not say what condition they are in.
There's no word on any arrests or what led up to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
