PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Authorities are investigating a double homicide in Portsmouth Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly after 3 p.m., Portsmouth police were called to a shooting on Turnpike Road, just off Highway 17.
At the scene, officers found two individuals shot. Both victims, who have not been publicly identified at this time, suffered fatal injuries.
Police have not announced any arrests or said what led up to the shooting.
