PORTSMOUTH -- Two men are charged with robbing a Portsmouth convenience store Monday night.
20 year-old Jaquan T. Brown and 23-year-old Sherrod M. Cannon, both of Portsmouth, were identified after authorities reviewed surveillance camera video of the robber at the 7-Eleven in the 3500 block of Deep Creek Blvd., police said.
Cannon robbed the store around 10:50 p.m., not long after Brown had been inside, according to a news release.

Cannon is charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Brown faces a robbery charge.
It wasn't clear whether either man is suspected in a series of armed robberies in the city this month.
