16-year-old boy shot in Suffolk

A teenage boy was transported to the hospital after getting shot on the 200th block of North 4th Street.

SUFFOLK, Va. — On Thursday night around 5:58 p.m., the Suffolk 911 Center received a call for a person shot in the 200 block of North 4th Street, Suffolk Police Department said.

The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was treated on the scene by Suffolk Fire and Rescue and then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect at this time.

Police are still investigating.
