GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. — A man is facing multiple charges following a shooting that sent someone to the hospital in Hayes, the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies were called to the 2300 block of Perrin Creek Road just before 7 p.m. Tuesday for a report of what they describe as a "domestic-related shooting."
The victim, an adult man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Deputies said 65-year-old Glenn Michael Edwards of Hayes was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding, attempted second-degree murder, use or display of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharge of a firearm within or at an occupied dwelling.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or what relationship Edwards has with the victim.
