Norfolk's Hospitality for the Homeless holds toiletry drive

The re-distribution agency gave away free toiletry care kits to 30 organizations helping the homeless.

NORFOLK, Va. — Supporting those in need with help from Norfolk's "Hospitality for the Homeless."

On Wednesday, the group celebrated nearly two decades of giving away free -- no cost, no questions asked -- toiletry care kits to 30 organizations helping the homeless.

"These are items that we take for granted very easily, that are not that easily accessible to others," said president and founder Brian Friedman.

Hospitality for the Homeless has donated to over 100 agencies across coastal Virginia. The group also has partnerships with hotels across the nation to help build their care kit program.

More information about Hospitality for the  Homeless' mission and how you can help is available on the organization's website.
