HAMPTON, Va. — There's new help to keep children from going hungry in Hampton
Hampton City Schools is going to start providing free meals for children to eat on the weekends. It starts the week of March 22 and it's for children who are 18 or younger.
Families can get them on Thursdays at some schools and bus stops. Your other option is to pick them up on Mondays at any 5-Day Meal Kit pickup sites.
If you already get free meals from the school division, you don't have to register or do anything else to get the meals for the weekend.
The meals can be picked up at the following sites:
