NORFOLK - There are changes coming to gates at Naval Station Norfolk.
Starting November 16 at 8:00 p.m., Gate 4 on Bay Avenue will close weekends and federal holidays; Gate 22 off I-64 on Granby Street will become the 24/7 Gate.
Gate 4 will be open weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and concrete jersey barriers will be in place to reduce high-speed approaches.
The posted outbound speed limit is 15MPH.
