VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are investigating an accident in which a vehicle ran into an apartment building.
Just after 2 a.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Lynnhaven Parkway to assist the Virginia Beach Fire Department on a report of a vehicle that ran into an apartment building.
The vehicle occupants fled on foot prior to officers' arrival.
No injuries were reported.
Lynnhaven Parkway was shut down at Primrose Lane and Lynnhaven Parkway Monday morning and traffic was redirected. It is unknown at this time how long it will be shut down.
