VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- ALDI is hosting a hiring event for it's Virginia Beach store on Thursday, May 31.
The available positions include Shift Managers and Store Associates. The event is from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach located at 5655 Greenwich Road.
Shift Manager salaries are $16.85 per hour. That's $12.35 per hour plus an additional $4.50 per hour premium when performing manager duties. The Store Associates' salary starts at $12.35 per hour with the opportunity for a pay increase after 6 months of employment.
The hiring event offers prospective employees the chance to apply and ask questions.
The Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Drug screening and a background check
- Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday – Sunday
- Retail experience preferred
- Ability to lift 45 pounds
