CHESAPEAKE -- A man robbed the ABNB Credit Union in Chesapeake Tuesday morning.
Police say the robber entered the bank at 4109 Chesapeake Square Blvd. just after 10:00 a.m., implied he had a weapon and demanded money.
According to witnesses, he left the bank with the money and got into a silver colored newer model car, which police say was occupied by another person.
The vehicle was seen heading westbound on Portsmouth Blvd toward Suffolk.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20's, about 5 ft. 9 inches tall.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing a white T-shirt over a grey long sleeved shirt and a grey and orange ball cap over a white do-rag.
