NORFOLK, Va. — Online and app banking services for Navy Federal Credit Union customers appears to be resolved as of Friday afternoon.
The credit union initially confirmed the outage on its website with a statement saying they are aware of the issues impacting their "mobile and online banking platforms."
According to the website DownDetector.com, customers started reporting a crash around 8 a.m. As the day progressed, outage reports began to decrease, with virtually no outages reported by 5 p.m.
Should customers experience an outage again, Navy Federal is directing customers to call 1-888-842-6328 for any account-specific assistance.
The cause of the outage has not been reported at this time.
