What Are The Instructions? Make a cake batter with one standard box of cake mix according to the directions. If you want a denser cake, you can use an extra egg and substitute milk for water and use have as much as the recipe calls for. Also, add a pudding mix that matches your cake.
Now spray both the bottom and top pan with baking spray. For best results, use the one with flour. Now, flip the top pan over and spray the surface in case some cake batter bakes up through the holes. Do not use vegetable or canola oil on the pans because that could result in unevenly cooked Bake Pops.
Pour the batter into the bottom pan until all the cavities are filled then spread it with a spatula. You should start filling in the center of the pan and work your way out to the sides. Now place the top pan (that's the one with the holes) on top of the bottom pan and secure it with clips. Then bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on your oven. Let the pans cool before you remove the top pan. If any cake has baked through the holes, simply scrape it off before removing the top pan. If you want a crispier exterior, empty the cake balls onto a cookie sheet and back for another three to five minutes.
To decorate your Bake Pops, you need to first let them sit for ten minutes after being taken out of the oven. Melt a small amount of candy coating in the microwave. Dip the end of the Bake Pop Stick into the coating, then insert it into the cake ball. Place your Bake Pop into the freezer for 10 minutes or in the refrigerator until the coating is hard. Now, heat a large batch of candy coating in the microwave and prepare your topping bowls. Remove your Bake Pop from the refrigerator and dip it into the candy coating. Sprinkle on additional toppings over the topping bowl. Now enjoy!
Did it work? Our tester thought making the cake portion of the Bake Pops was pretty easy. But when it came to decorating them, she ran into some difficulty. It wasn't as easy as it looked. In fact, it turned out to be a bit of a challenge. Arnold said while she liked the ease of the pan, clean up included, she did not like the challenges that came with trying to decorate a round item. She says it was fun to try the Original Bake Pop, but it's probably not something she would try again.

The Original Bake Pop is dishwasher safe, but it's recommended that you clean your Bake Pop set with soapy water then immediately rinse and thoroughly towel dry.
