VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Regional Black Chamber of Commerce, Black BRAND, is reuniting entrepreneurs for another year with the 8th Black Diamond Weekend conference at Town Center in Virginia Beach from November 3 - 5.
The annual three-day conference showcases Black-owned businesses in the area. Additionally, classes and workshops will be offered for aspiring entrepreneurs.
This year's theme is "Black Audacity."
"We do more than resist social issues. We dare to dream, and we create an impact against all odds," said Black BRAND's president, Blair Durham. "It's Black Audacity that gets us out of bed every morning."
The main event is the annual Gala held at the Westin Hotel in Virginia Beach, which gives attendees the opportunity to network with Black business owners, politicians, Chamber of Commerce members and others. It will be on Friday, November 3, at 7 p.m. with a kick-off VIP hour at 6 p.m.
The cost to attend the various events ranges from being free to $350 for VIP passes.
