VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Several nail salons across Hampton Roads have reopened to a flock of customers more grateful than ever to get pampered once again.
Booked solid since May 18, Jenny's Nails in Virginia Beach has been taking clients by appointment only. This follows Phase One guidelines of the Forward Virginia reopening plan.
They're still offering all the same services they did before, but with several safety precautions now in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We have gloves on while we're doing services. Everyone has to wear a mask when they enter our shop and when we are done working on a client's nails, we sanitize with alcohol and wipe everything down," Nail Technician Mai Nguyen said.
They also installed plexiglass barriers in front of all the nail stations, which creates a shield between the technicians and the customers.
Jenny's Nails is operating at a 10-person capacity and they plan on keeping their safety guidelines intact for the foreseeable future.
