CHESAPEAKE, Va. — At Fur'st Love Pet Spa, every pet gets the royal treatment, so we took our favorite boy, Bentley, to get some pooch pampering.
Pet spas are all the rage and in Chesapeake, people are lining up to get their dogs in for a little rest and relaxation at Fur'st Love Pet Spa.
"I didn't anticipate this business taking off like it has. I think the root of me caring about the people, my employees caring about the people and being passionate about the dogs, it really shows," said owner Aimee Allen.
Aimee and her team offer a variety of services that will make your dog not only look and smell great but feel amazing. From a massage to a manicure and pet-a cure, which is a pedicure for dogs. Deep conditioning treatment, toothbrushing and even doggy daycare.

"Every dog that comes in gets two baths, we give them a massage, we also hand-dry them so that they are not in a cage. We also clean their ears, we trim their nails and if they need a haircut, they would get a haircut in addition to all that," said Allen.
One of the most popular spa features is getting a touch of color added to your dog's fur. All the products used are non-toxic and made specifically for animals' hair and skin. Additionally, the colors wash out over time.
Bentley loved exploring and mingling with his new spa friends and by the looks of how busy they were, it's safe to say, the need for our pooches to be well-groomed, maintained and pampered is there.
"Animals are a part of our family and they deserve all the love and attention that they can possibly be given," said customer Linda Anthony.
