Virginia Beach Holiday Boat Parade returns to the Oceanfront

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A popular holiday tradition is set to return to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

VB Rescue is hosting its annual Virginia Beach Holiday Parade of Lights on Saturday, Dec. 7 to raise money for the VB Rescue Squad Foundation. 

Boats will start lining up in Broad Bay at 5 p.m. The premiere viewing of the parade will be at Chick's Oyster Bar at 2143 Vista Circle starting at 6 p.m. 

The VB Rescue Squad comprises over 900+ volunteers who operate 37 ambulances, three squad trucks, six boats, and support & command vehicles with 50 career paramedics and supervisors. They respond to about 46,000 public health and safety calls per year. All parade proceeds will go to supporting the foundation and its efforts.

Tickets are $100 per attendee. It includes premiere viewing, a $10 Uber voucher, dinner from Chick's Oyster Bar, and a cash bar at happy hour prices.
