NORFOLK, Va. — Food and fellowship are a church’s bread and butter, especially on Thanksgiving Day.
The holiday is meant to give thanks and gather with friends and family, but there are a lot of people who don't have the resources to get a warm plate.
To provide some aid, Calvary Revival Church is hosting Feed the City from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. It's one of several organizations offering food this Thanksgiving.
Alexander McBath, Executive Director of the church’s Revive Community, said they have plenty of free plates to go around.
CEO Nischelle Buffalow also added that anybody in the community is welcome to sit down to eat or take food to go.
Meals will be offered at several different locations throughout Hampton Roads. Here's a breakdown by city.
