Wish granted: Boy with rare heart condition given vacation to Legoland Florida

Cayden loves playing with LEGOs, so a vacation to Legoland was a natural choice for Cayden and his family!

NORFOLK, Va. — The Chartway Promise Foundation is granting a wish to a 7-year-old boy with a rare heart condition.

They're sending Cayden to Legoland Florida! It's part of Chartway's "Give with All Your Heart" campaign along with their partner Make a Wish Greater Virginia.

Cayden has undergone multiple surgeries for congenital heart disease, but thankfully he has no physical limitations at this time. He loves playing with LEGOs, so a vacation to Legoland was a natural choice for Cayden and his family!

The surprise announcement was made at Thursday night's ODU basketball game, with Cayden and his family in attendance.

The "Give with All Your Heart" is currently underway through February 29, where each $5 donation delivers a Promise Heart to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. Chartway Credit Union members can make donations through their Chartway account in a branch, digital banking, or an ITM, while supporters can donate on the Chartway Promise Foundation’s website or via Venmo @ChartwayPromise.
