WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Busch Gardens Williamsburg is hosting Virginia's largest craft beer and barbecue festival as a toast to the end of summer.
The Bier Fest Brews & BBQ Fest will take place every Friday through Sunday, plus Labor Day, from August 16 through September 2. The festival will feature more than 75 craft beers from 52 breweries, including 30 Virginia favorites.
Parkgoers will also be able to purchase a 10-item sampler lanyard to enjoy their favorite brews, specialty cocktails, and more.
Additionally, the festival will feature a new barbecue menu, including 25 mouth-watering dishes such as dry-rubbed BBQ pork loin, smoked bacon mac and cheese, and BBQ bacon ranch dip, among other savory and sweet treats.
A rotating lineup of local bands will also perform on the Prost Patio in Oktoberfest each weekend, including rising artists Broke Royals and Tyler Meacham.
And for those looking for a thrill, Busch Gardens Williamsburg said it has newly reimagined its Loch New Monster The Legend Lives On and the fan-favorite DarKoaster, which will be available to ride during the festival.
