EASTERN SHORE, Va. (WVEC) --Mary Lee, the infamous great white shark, has been all over the Atlantic Ocean but has made her return to the waters off the Virginia coast.
She swam about 150 miles in the last 24 hours and sent an OCEARCH satellite tag at 10:31 a.m. due east of the the Virginia-Maryland border.
The 3,500-pound shark has been tracked by OCEARCH since she was tagged in September 2012 off Cape Cod.
Mary Lee has amassed more than 90,000 followers on her unofficial Twitter page.
