NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- This weekend, thousands of music lovers will gather to celebrate Jazz at the 34th Annual Norfolk jazz Festival.
The event started Friday, July 15 and ends today Saturday, July 16.
Festivities were originally scheduled to take place at Town Point Park, however, due to extreme heat conditions and forecasted rain, they have been moved to the Norfolk Scope arena for Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16.
Norfolk Festevents officials say all tickets will be honored at the Scope arena entrance. Due to the location change, no personal chairs or coolers will be allowed inside.
Single day tickets can be purchased for $30 at the Festevents Box Office located at 120 W. Main Street in downtown Norfolk from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at the festival entrance gate from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
