Raven Symoné told the The View audience Thursday that she'll leave the talk show and New York before the end of the year to move to Los Angeles.

She will be reuniting with Disney Channel to to develop a modern spinoff of That's So Raven, which ran from 2003 to 2007.

Symoné will reprise her title role as Raven Baxter. She's still psychic and sassy, but is now a divorced mom with two tweens of her own, one of whom has inherited her knack for clairvoyance.

Casting is already under way to find the actors who will play her kids.

"Raven's brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel's success around the world," says Adam Bonnett, Disney Channel's VP of programming. "Her performance in That's So Raven is timeless. We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we're looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family."

Symoné will serve as an executive producer on the show.

The as-yet-untitled show follows two other high-profile reboots of hit tween shows from the '90s and '00s. Disney Channel is now three seasons into Girl Meets World, which focuses on the daughter of Boy Meets World protagonist Cory Matthews (Ben Savage).

And Dec. 9 brings the second season of Netflix's Fuller House, which reunites most of the cast of ABC's '90s comedy with Candace Cameron Bure's grown-up DJ Tanner taking center stage.
