Creed announces comeback tour, will make a stop in Virginia Beach

Rock band CREED is going on a 2024 "Summer of '99 Tour."

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Award-winning rock band Creed is reuniting and making a stop at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach next summer!

After an 11-year hiatus, the '90s band announced they are making a comeback with their Summer of '99 Tour with all of its original members: Singer Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips, and bassist Brian Marshall.

They're set to play in Virginia Beach on Saturday, July 27, 2024, and will feature special guests 3 Doors Down and Finger Eleven.

The band, which was originally formed in Tallahassee, Florida, is popular for hits like "Higher," "My Sacrifice," "One Last Breath," "With Arms Wide Open" and "My Own Prison."

The Virginia Beach stop will be one of 40 cities in their North American tour. 

Presale tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. on Oct.  31, with general sale tickets beginning Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at Creed.com.
