NORFOLK, Va. — The Virginia Zoo is once again allowing grown-ups who want to unleash their inner wild child can do so with its latest Adult Night on Saturday, July 13.
The 21 and up event features free activities like bounce houses, lawn games, and a DJ dance party. And to help beat the heat, the Zoo is offering "splash zone" train rides on the Virginia Zoo Express, as well as splash pad fountains and alcoholic ICEE beverages. The Zoo will also offer specialty mixed drinks in addition to canned beer, wine, and seltzers.
Big Ugly Brewing and Waters Edge Winery will provide free beer and wine samples for guests, with full pours available at an additional cost.
Several food trucks and vendors will also be on hand, including community groups like Hampton Roads Pride, Pink Boots Society, and Coastal Virginia Brewery Alliance.
Adult Night is July 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. Member tickets are $22 and non-member tickets are $37 and can be purchased on its website. There are a limited number of tickets and the Zoo expects them to sell out, so get yours early!
