Speak Up for a Change is hosting its' annual Women's Leadership Forum Gala in Hampton Roads

The Women's Leadership Gala will be hosted on March 16 at Grand Affairs in Hampton Roads.

HAMPTON, Va. — The nonprofit Speak Up for a Change" is hosting The Women's Leadership Forum Gala in Hampton Roads.

 The Women's Leadership Forum Gala will be hosted on March 16 at 7 p.m. at Grand Affairs in Hampton Roads. Dapper Luq will be hosting the gala.

 It will celebrate women's accomplishments and give a voice to those who can’t speak up for themselves.

The gala brings together influential women from various fields, including business, politics, academia, and the arts, to inspire and empower others through their stories and accomplishments. 

The gala features keynote speeches from influential women leaders, panel discussions on topics related to women's leadership, and recognition of outstanding women in various fields.

The goal is to provide a platform for women to share their experiences, insights, and strategies for success in leadership positions. The purpose is to raise money to continue fighting hunger, homelessness and domestic violence. The fundraiser goal is $300,000.

The gala will celebrate women's leadership in Hampton Roads all the way to Africa.  

The nonprofit is working with the government to provide women from Africa Visas so they can attend the event. The kings of Nigeria and Ghana will be coming. The mayor of Virginia Beach will also be attending.

Adzowavi Sakponou Adenka, the president and founder, encourages the community to come out, dress up, have a good time and support a good cause.
