NashFest 757 Music & Food Festival returns to Norfolk this weekend

The one-day event is meant to be a celebration of the best of Tennessee and Nashville culture, including music, barbeque, line dancing, craft beer and whiskey.

NORFOLK, Va. — NashFest 757 Music & Food Festival returns to Town Point Park along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront this Saturday!

The one-day event is meant to be a celebration of the best of Tennessee and Nashville culture. And 13News Now's own Dan Kennedy will be emceeing the event.

The country music lineup includes headliner LANCO, the traditional bluegrass music from the East Nash Grass band and an up-and-coming Hampton Roads artist named Roberta Lea, whose style is described as "country-neo-pop" by her fellow musicians.

And then there's the food -- hot chicken, barbeque, mac & cheese and biscuits, just to name a few of the Nashville-inspired offerings expected from local restaurants, food trucks and top chefs.

There will also be a variety of craft beer on tap, as well as a Jack Daniel's whiskey-tasting experience.

Other reasons to attend: line dancing lessons, neon sign exhibits, shopping and apparel, guitar displays and more.

NashFest is free and open to the public and runs from noon to 10 p.m.
