CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Portsmouth-Suffolk chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is hosting its second annual "Healthy Kappa" walk across the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge this weekend.
The walk will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 6, at Elizabeth River Park on the Chesapeake side of the bridge. The walk will proceed across the bridge to the Portsmouth side, and then a return walk back to the park.
If you don't want to walk across the Jordan Bridge, there will be activities like games, fishing, and walks around the Elizabeth River Park itself. Drinks will be provided and shade is available in the park's pavilion.
The event is free and open to the public, with everyone encouraged to come out and support the community.
