NORFOLK, Va. — Tim Pandajis joined 13News Now as Chief Meteorologist in November 2023 — watch him Monday through Friday in our 5p, 6p and 11p newscasts.
Born, raised, and educated in Connecticut, Tim is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, where he received a B.S. in Meteorology. He went on to complete his Master’s degree in Natural Resources and Global Sustainability at Virginia Tech.
Tim's career has taken him to many different areas of the country, but he’s spent the majority of his career right here in Virginia. And he's no stranger to Hampton Roads — he first joined the 13News Now Weather Team in 2016 as the Daybreak meteorologist and spent five years with the station until accepting a post at our sister station, KHOU, in Houston, Texas.
Tim holds the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal.
His wife, Martha and their pups, Savannah and Jackson, are excited to Virginia and joining Tim’s sister and parents, who also live in the area. In his free time, Tim loves to be outdoors, traveling and attending festivals and community events. If you see him around town don’t be shy to say hello!
