Taylor Stephenson joined 13News Now as the midday and weekend morning meteorologist in June 2023.
Taylor was raised in metro Atlanta and calls Stone Mountain her home.
Growing up, she gained a passion for meteorology by watching The Weather Channel for hours on end. She took that passion to the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. Taylor also minored in Broadcast Meteorology and Mathematics.
During her time in college, Taylor served as a Weather Anchor and Senior Weather Producer for her college’s daily newscast “OU Nightly.” Her weather life came full circle when she interned at The Weather Channel as a Weather Producer in the summer of 2019.
After graduating OU, Taylor joined 13WMAZ in Macon, Georgia – 13News Now’s sister station – as a full-time meteorologist. In Macon, Taylor covered multiple severe weather events and a handful of tropical systems. She served Central Georgia for two years.
Taylor is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Outside of work, you can find Taylor watching reality TV shows or exploring new restaurants in the Hampton Roads region.
