Chris Collette is the Senior Digital Content Producer for 13News Now. He's a digital journalist with more than 10 years experience working for online news websites.
A Hampton Roads native and a Navy brat, Chris graduated with a degree in Mass Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University and got his start as a digital producer at WWBT NBC12 in Richmond. He then took a 10-year "vacation" to sunny Florida, where he worked at 13News Now's sister station in Tampa/St. Pete, WTSP 10 News, eventually becoming the station's Digital Content Manager.
But home was always in Virginia, and in 2015 he returned to Hampton Roads and joined the news team he grew up watching, 13News Now.
When not at work, you can probably find Chris seeking out classic video games, crate digging at a local record store, or taking the occasional road trip to Richmond to enjoy a live jazz show.
