NORFOLK, Va. — A vehicle fire is causing traffic headaches on westbound Interstate 64 leading up to the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel.
The car became fully engulfed on the approach to the HRBT in Willoughby at mile marker 72.
All westbound lanes were shut down for a while, but as of 1 p.m., all but one lane had reopened.
Virginia State Police say the driver was not in the vehicle when it caught fire, but had left to seek assistance.
